I just got back from a day at Moscone West listening to Google present updates on Android on nearly all screens. I recorded a brief video recapping some of the highlights on Android One, Android L, Android TV, Android Wear and more.
Be sure to also follow all of our coverage from the show here.

Love the video update on what is going on. I like this format much better than the text version with some pictures, but maybe that is just me. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming.R0H1T - Thursday, June 26, 2014 - link
AT are you going to do a comparison of ART vs Dalvik anytime soon ? For those of us on Android 4.4x there's good chance we'll switch to ART just because of the intended perf boost it (supposedly) brings even this early stage of development. Also are there any other real benefits to ART, apart from it being "truly cross platform" & faster than Dalvik?Wade_Jensen - Thursday, June 26, 2014 - link
I have a feeling Anand or another reviewer will be posting benchmark comparisons for nexus 5 and 7 images based on Dalvik 4.4.4, ART 4.4.4 and ART on the L preview within days. They're awesome like that.tipoo - Thursday, June 26, 2014 - link
I'd love to see the AT review of that. I tried ART on my Moto G, but it's hard to tell objectively if it helped, and that's not the final build like Android L will have.moh.moh - Thursday, June 26, 2014 - link
Anandtech, in your recap you stated that the source of L will be made available when the system images of the nexus 5 and 7 will be released. Can you confirm this again? Because you are the only source I have heard to state that the source will also be released.moh.moh - Thursday, June 26, 2014 - link

I loved how you're the only major site mentioning the decreased information density.Which I hate. From my heart, because recent apps has just been destroyed - what a mess. If we only stack these like cards, you know... http://goo.gl/jDAAFn
